HOW MUSLIMS CAME TO NORTH AMERICA

HOW MUSLIMS CAME TO NORTH AMERICA
The Iberian Peninsula was ruled by Muslims in 711, who established their seat of power at Andalucia, Spain until 1492 according to Crow in 1963. The same people also occupied Portugal, Southern France, and the Balearic Islands, and ruled Sicily, a part of Italy for 130 years until 1091. They were the Hispanic Muslims. Genoa is the neighbor town of Sicily in Italy. This is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus who was known to have found America in 1492 according to De Madariaga in 1940. According to Bourne in 1904, long before the compass and its needle were fabricated, the ‘Mediterranean Spanish voyagers who were fearless and strong’ found Iceland in 867, and colonized Greenland in 985 and subsequently arrive at the shores of America. Bourne should have meant the Muslims from Spain who ruled Iberia, Portugal, Southern France, the Balearic Islands, and Sicily.
